Jiading Office Building

As the first building of the Jiading New City center, we proposed a landmark tower that incorporated modern, simple, and appealing design according to the golden proportion.

The office tower is a slender and efficient floor plate of 1700m2 suspended over a two-part podium separated by a waterway and greenspace passing through the site. Using a European standard, the maximum distance to the windows within the tower is never greater than 8m. The tower has a north-south orientation allowing for natural cross ventilation and both major faces of the tower use solar sunshades to take advantage of the natural light and provide optimum heat and cooling.
